A Rich Heritage

Mirepoix existed well before the Christian era. In 1279, the day of Saint-Cyr, the whole city was inundated by a flood of Hers. On the rebâtit around the Benedictine priory. In 1317, Pope John XXII in Avignon was the seat of a bishop. The importance of the city was then considerable.

The Market

Its History
